If you fail to make sure that the ground is level it could result in the paving stones to sink or buckle. The next step is installing the paving blocks carefully in the desired pattern. They will need to be compacted so they will sit evenly. The last step is force some type of pacing material like sand between the cracks to keep the stones stable and even and discourage weed growth.
Interlocking – the interlocking paving stone is designed to join each connecting stone together to stop the other stones from shifting or moving. Most often the interlocking stones are manufactured in both concrete and cement to give a very hard-wearing and versatile construction. And due to not requiring mortar to lay these stones, they are considered to be the easiest to install. It is often a simple case of laying a sand base and joining each of the slabs together. These interlocking stones are perfect for the main driveways, walkways, or decking areas.
There are many paving stone designs available for your driveway, walkway or pathway. For this application, paving tiles are ideal as they are large squares that can be placed along the walkway or driveway. Grooming all pathways in the garden with paving tiles will create a smooth walkway for you and your guests.
There are various methods advocated by other gardeners. I have tried the vinegar method. Either I didn’t do it correctly or the vinegar wasn’t strong enough. I did discover that the 5 % household vinegar will not work well. There are stronger vinegars, a hunting job to find them. But those who liked it obviously have success. I imagine one might go through a lot of vinegar.
