Block building will last almost forever and requires very little maintenance. Concrete is one of the most durable materials available on the market, which means any building will retain its beauty for much longer, especially since concrete is not susceptible to corrosion or other forms of degradation. Thus, by building a block concrete, you will be investing for the long term since your building will maintain its value as it will not be susceptible to the wide range of problems other building materials come with.
External works need also be integrated within the works to ensure that they don’t drag the completion of the works as a whole. Taking the example of landscaping, it will need a lot of time to grow some of the plants as may be required in the compound. These could be planted long before the building is put up, as long as they do not play hindrance to the construction
Likewise, fires pose less of a problem to the structure of a concrete building as a concrete block can take a high degree of heat without cracking or suffering severe damage. Thus, if the worst does occur, at least your building will be safe and won’t crumble to the ground.
These are fairly small paving blocks which fit together in various ways to create an overall pattern which suits your home and taste. Another popular method for building a driveway is to use gravel, or shingle, in a loose way. This is also good for security as you will hear the distinct sound of the gravel when someone walks on it. You could also go for a concrete driveway, these will be cheaper to build, and offer a hard wearing, durable surface, but I must say, don’t look the best compared to a block paved driveway.
