Block building will last almost forever and requires very little maintenance. Concrete is one of the most durable materials available on the market, which means any building will retain its beauty for much longer, especially since concrete is not susceptible to corrosion or other forms of degradation. Thus, by building a block concrete, you will be investing for the long term since your building will maintain its value as it will not be susceptible to the wide range of problems other building materials come with.
Once you have your materials you need to start work in your area. Make sure all debris and other materials are cleared and then begin to set your sub base. Your sub base will ideally be made of very fine gravel or preferably sand. You are going to want to set a sub base of roughly 70 mm deep so that your paving stones appear to be level with the ground but are also protected from the dirt underneath the sub base. This will also help with any drainage issues you may have with your block paving path.
When it comes to design, a concrete block building can be shaped and moulded into practically anything your architect can come up with. Concrete blocks are an extremely flexible building material and their strength means you can practically build anything you can imagine, from a single floor to multiple story homes and add all sorts of accents, including pillars, arches and more.
Boundary walls and hedges: these are meant for demarcating the space on which the building stands as well providing security and privacy.
