A lot of homemakers prefer the pre-made paving slabs as they make installation easy. That’s not all even maintaining these are considerably easy. There are a number of brick pavers also available. These are considered to be a lifetime investment because they are not just strong but also eco-friendly. Apart from this they are also very easy to use since they don’t need much care and maintenance.
Every home with a garden looks not just good but beautiful. Well designed and well maintained gardens don’t just add aesthetic value but also increase the monetary value of the house.
The only problem with slate waste being used in these ways is that there just isn’t enough of it to go around in a lot of cases. This is great for the industry, as it means they actually have demand for their waste products, but it could also mean a price hike for it in the future. For now however, if you can get your hands on it, it makes a good cheap alternative to many other materials, a lot of which aren’t a waste product.
Concrete garden paving slabs are one of the least expensive options, but they do tend to crack over time. Cracking and concrete’s natural tendency to stain are two of the biggest disadvantages of using concrete. If one slab needs to be replaced, it’s also very difficult to do so without leaving marks and scars around the area.
