Cobbles. Cobblestones are often used for driveways and pathways because of their durability and natural stone appearance. They are hard wearing and can withstand many weather conditions and constant walking and driving. These are ideal for your garden walkways where there is much through traffic. Cobblestones can be used to fit into a stone garden theme or, depending on the colours you choose, a more fun outgoing theme. Cobbles comes in variety of colours including stone, stone white, charcoal, sandstone and more.
If you take a look into most gardens during summer you will see people spraying insecticides and weed killer on their paving. This is because they do not want things like moss growing up between the bricks. If you take a look at the driveways of more creative people you might see moss growing in very strange patterns.
Ideally, one side of the patio stones are placed at a direct course, confirmed by using a piece of heavy string. Laying the line on the ground adjacent to the pavers or stones and gently tapping them with a rubber mallet to set them in place and make the very first row of stones straight.
When it comes to driveways and patios and pathways, a lot of people limit their thinking to finding paving bricks for sale that can be used to make interesting patterns in the actual paving. People do not think of other ways to decorate their paving. One thing that works pretty well is moss.
